At Shang Di Karate, we study a unique hybrid of the art of Kenpo Karate, which incorporates international elements from China, Japan, and Hawaii. Our blend is a beautifully lyrical balance between both hard and soft styles, and has been passed down to us from Senior Grandmaster Rick Alemany of Hawaii. Our training takes place in a comfortable, yet formal, atmosphere with an emphasis on etiquette and self-control as well as physical ability and practical application. We feel that it is important to equip our students with the proper tools for self-empowerment and safety while maintaining general health and fitness.

Our Students

Our school is designed to serve the needs of children (starting at 10 years of age), teens and adults. This is reflected in our schedule by offering after school classes, evening classes and classes that emphasize adult training and fitness. A small class sizes allow us to effectively teach students of varying levels. Our students are often those that might not feel as comfortable in a larger, more anonymous atmosphere. We feel we are able to provide personalized attention and adapt to each student's style of learning.

We are currently enrolling new students. Please call for an appointment to take advantage of the New Member Intro Package special!

Our Instructors

Our school is small, providing focus and allowing our instructors to spend ample one on one time with each student. We have also created a series of videos designed to help our students practice at home. These are available to all students.
